Jenks vs. Union Coverage

Okay everyone realizes that Jenks and Union are the football powerhouses in Oklahoma. The coverage was expected until TWICE it was mentioned Friday during the news that BA is the biggest school in Oklahoma and hasn't won a state Championship in 30 years. Was that necessary Channel 8? How rude! Could it be that the reason that Union and Jenks dominate could have something to do with recruiting and drawing talent into their districts? I've decided to find another station for my football coverage. Go BA!

Or, could it possibly be that it's just the truth? Truth hurt? I guess it does. I'm sure you didn't have a problem last year when BA beat Union, right? Why didn't you guys win the title last year?

I agree the news coverage for jenks and union is always a big thing! I just think that it would be nice to talk more about the players in Tulsa Public Schools not just cover the bad stuff!! The players work just as hard all summer long!!!! They live in Tulsa and support your network!

I've never lived in Tulsa or Oklahoma for that matter. I've followed Jenks and Union for years. I say that until someone steps up and wins the title its always going to be about Jenks and Union. I know for a fact that people in other states that follow big time high school football know about Jenks and Union.

I don't have a problem with the jenks and union coverage but cover some of the other schools and talk about them just the same.

Goooo B.Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...Waaaaa Waaaaaa Waaaaaaa! Get better if you're tired of Jenks/Union. Everybody recruits, even BA band and wrestling. Ron wasn't the answer, maybe Steve will be. It's about heart and dedication. Jenks/Union have it..BA doesn't. Period. Good luck Trojans and Skins this Friday!
