Owasso Stadium Renovation Nearing Completion

I drove by there this afternoon. It's really coming along and looks great.

Yes it looks good but will of course never match up to the facilities Jenks and Union have. I'm unbiased as I did not graduate or coach at any Oklahoma school. I came here from the west coast a few years ago and saying that I have done much research on local 6A teams for the 2009 season and after seeing Owasso's victory over Muskogge I thought there was some positive points to walk away from with that victory however tonight you played a much better team in Broken Arrow and got shutout. Owasso is a descent team but descent just doesent get it done in OK 6A football with teams like Jenks, Union and BA to locally contend with. A lot can change through the weeks of a season but I would be willing to bet the mortgage that it's another losing season to Jenks and Union for Owasso, SORRY

I am from Owasso myself and agree that we are more then lacking when it comes to football. However every school has its strengths and ours is not on the grid iron. Owasso finds it's strength on the diamond. The Owasso Rams have dominated Oklahoma high school baseball over the last decade and have proven themselves to be one of the top programs in the nation. The Rams have taken home three straight 6A state titles in Oklahoma and are a model for constant success in baseball.
