Booker T. Beats Jenks In Scrimmage
Booker T. Washington is loaded and ready to defend its Class 5A championship. No better way to do that than to take on a 6A powerhouse in their own house.

The Hornets did just that Friday night, taking on the Jenks Trojans at Hunter-Dwelley Stadium and winning 18-to-6 behind the arm and legs of Eric Bennett, who ran for a touchdown and threw for two others.

Jenks' lone touchdown came on a pass from Sawyer Kollmorgen to Tim Elias.

There are just two weeks before the regular season gets underway.

Until then, Jenks will host the Trojan Preview next week with teams from Sand Springs, Enid and Edmond Santa Fe participating.

Booker T. Washington will take part in the All-City Preview, which begins Thursday.
