Former Muskogee, Oklahoma Sooners and NFL defensive lineman Stacy McGee was born on January 17, 1990 in Muskogee.

McGee was a first-team All-State selection in 2007 after making 98 tackles, 20 for losses, six sacks, two interceptions and eight pass break-ups in helping the Roughers advance to the Class 6A semifinals.

In his Muskogee career, McGee had 160 tackles, 13 sacks and six interceptions.

He signed with OU over offers from OSU, Texas Tech, Florida, Tennessee and LSU and appeared in 34 games over four seasons, making 63 tackles, 9.5 for losses and two and a half sacks.

He was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft and went on to play four seasons with the Raiders, then with the Washington Redskins, Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals.

In an 8-year NFL career, he recorded 118 tackles, had four and a half sacks, forced two fumbles, recovered two others and had a pass deflection.
